Week of October 17 - 21

2nd Grade Parent Update
Week of October 17 - 21
Announcements for this Week:
Carnival This Weekend!
St. Jerome Parish and School will celebrate “Coming Together as a Community” at our Carnival this weekend, October 21 - 23. Please come out to support our school and enjoy the fun, food, and festivities. We so appreciate all of the time and money you have contributed to making this carnival great, and now it is time to enjoy! I’m looking forward to seeing my students and their families there.
Don’t forget that Carnival T-Shirts can still be worn with regular uniform apparel on Friday, October 21 to promote the event and earn Spirit Points for our class. At the last count, 2nd grade was in the lead again! Great job, 2nd graders!
Halloween Costumes at our Fundraising Marketplace
Did you know that you can help raise money for our school simply by shopping for Halloween costumes and other great products? On our school website, there is a link for “Fundraising” at the bottom of the page. If you follow that link and click on the “Marketplace” banner, you will find links to dozens of online stores that donate a portion of your purchase to St. Jerome School. Save on Halloween costumes and support our school with just a few clicks!
Looking Ahead:
School Closed - Monday, October 24
There will be no school on Monday, October 24 due to Staff Development.
October Awards Assembly
This month’s Awards Assembly will be on Thursday, October 27 at 8:00 AM in the Front Yard. At the Assembly, we will celebrate October birthdays and honor the Virtue Award winners for the month. This month’s virtue is Fairness. Students are encouraged to take turns and share, play by the rules, and get along with others.
Make Up Picture Day
Photographers will be on campus on Thursday, October 27 to take pictures of anyone who was absent on Picture Day. Please contact the Main Office for more information on picture re-takes, and remember that school uniforms should be worn for the pictures.
