I want to thank all of you so much for all that you have done to support the 2nd Grade class during the 2010 - 2011 school year! It has truly been an unforgettable year, and I will look back fondly on this class in the years to come!

Schedule for the Last Week of School
Monday, June 13 is a full day of school with a 3:00 PM dismissal time.
Tuesday, June 14 is a half day of school with a 12:30 PM dismissal time.
The End of the Year Awards Assembly will take place on Tuesday, June 14 at 11:00 AM.
Wednesday, June 15 is the last day of school with a 9:00 AM dismissal time.
Students will attend Mass and receive their final report cards.
The Knott's Berry Farm Field Trip will take place after Mass on Wednesday, June 15.
Looking Ahead
2011 - 2012 School Year
The new school year will begin on Thursday, August 25!

Week of June 6 - 10
I want to thank everyone for coming to our Living Wax Museum on Wednesday evening. I think the children did an amazing job representing the historical figures they studied. Thank you to all of the children who worked so hard and the parents who supported them and helped to create such detailed and vivid costumes for the presentations! I also extend my gratitude to the Room Parents for organizing the celebration afterwards, Mrs. Mapa for supplying the cake, all of the parents who donated money for refreshments and supplies, and everyone who helped with setup, serving, and cleanup at the event. It was truly an unforgettable evening, thanks to you!

This week is our last full week of school for the 2010 - 2011 school year. It will be the last week of graded assignments, including tests and quizzes, classwork, and homework. Our last Computer class will be on Monday, June 6, our last P.E. class will be on Tuesday, June 7, and our last Music class will be on Thursday, June 9. Report cards will be distributed on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 15.
